Much of our work is performed under strict NDA, but our experience spans leading complex telecom initiatives from first principles through deployment—across wireless, satellite, broadband, public safety, and industrial systems.

Mobile Network Design & Delivery

  •  Led end‑to‑end RFI/RFP delivery for a Scandinavian operator, enabling a city‑wide integrated mobile, Wi‑Fi, and MVNO broadband solution across multiple vendors and service providers. Followed through with proof-of-concept deployment.
  • Delivered private 5G enterprise architecture for a major U.S. client, including design, costing and presentation to C suite. Partnered with a leading US telecom consultancy.
  • Developed operator‑ready evaluations of network‑sharing models, including MOCN, MORAN, and spectrum sharing to inform policy and investment decisions.
  • Designed cellular–Wi‑Fi offload strategies, incorporating hotspot analytics, roaming partnerships, vendor assessment, and proof‑of‑concept execution.

Satellite & Non‑Terrestrial Network Strategy

  • Modelled LEO satellite capacity to support reliable DTH services in rural and remote regions in Canada , identifying coverage and capacity gaps and proposing technologies to close them.
  • Assessed the impact of LEO constellations on broadband delivery, including direct‑to‑device (D2D) use cases for public safety applications.
  • Contributed to national policy decisions on supporting D2D satellite communications in Canada.
  • Analyzed spectrum re‑farming implications for satellite operators and fixed wireless operators across multiple deployment scenarios.

Broadband Network Design & Deployment

  • Engineered an end‑to‑end IPTV solution for a new operator, including WiMAX and Wi‑Fi access design, backhaul connectivity, interconnection, and video caching architectures.
  • Designed and evaluated rural broadband architectures using fibre, wireless, and satellite technologies for deployments across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
  • Developed funding‑ready proposals, combining technical design and business cases to help clients secure government broadband funding.

Network Performance Modelling & Measurement

  • Supported deployment, regulatory, and investment decisions through operator‑grade modelling, including propagation, link budgets, capacity, throughput, and QoS analysis.
  • Contributed to a Canada‑wide mobile performance metrics framework, working with regulators, industry, and stakeholder groups.
  • Developed high‑quality internet access metrics and measurement frameworks in support of Canada’s 50/10 Mbps Universal Service Objective.
  • Delivered operator‑grade modelling packages, including propagation, link budgets, capacity, throughput, and QoS analysis.

Telecom Policy, Regulation & Market Structure

  • Contributed actionable guidance to combat caller ID spoofing, leveraging STIR/SHAKEN, machine learning, and AI‑based detection approaches for a telecom regulator.
  • Assessed the regulatory and service impacts of virtualized and cloudified 5G and 6G networks.
  • Evaluated wholesale, retail, and emerging service models, including interconnection options across multiple technology domains.

Public Safety & Emergency Communications Systems

  • Led NG9‑1‑1 transition planning and readiness assessments for public safety stakeholders.
  • Modernized PSAP technology ecosystems, spanning architecture, platforms, and operational processes.
  • Designed video surveillance systems (mobile, fixed, and nomadic) with analytics and wireless backhaul for rail safety applications.

Industrial IoT, Smart Grid & Critical Systems

  • Defined Smart Grid go‑to‑market strategies for a broadband equipment vendor entering the energy sector. This led to a multi million dollar multi year business.
  • Built a wireless anti‑islanding SCADA‑integrated protection system for distributed power generation, including low‑latency point‑to‑point links for safety‑critical mirrored bits.
  • Developed a solar‑optimized industrial IoT platform for large‑scale environmental monitoring in landfill applications.

Product Strategy, Validation & Market Sizing

  • Supporting product, investment, and growth decisions through rigorous technical and market analysis.
  • Evaluated market potential for 60 GHz metamaterial and analogue signal processing technologies for next‑generation wireless products.
  • Refined product requirements for a new rural broadband access product targeting North American operators, including feature prioritization and executive presentations.
  • Supported technical due diligence to inform valuation for a company in the IPTV space.
